In case you missed it... New Workplace charter launched at Greener Greenwich Summit 2024!

Updated: Apr 17

A throwback to the #GreenerGreenwichSummit, held at Charlton Athletic Stadium and organised by South East London Chamber of Commerce last week. Over 200 members from varying industry experts and innovators attended making it one of the most influential sustainability themed events in Greenwich.

GFIG was well represented as our amazing CEO opened the presentations and to launch our newly created Good Food in Greenwich 'Workplace' charter.

Businesses are such a huge part of peoples lives, and can influence many of the decisions we make everyday in terms of healthy eating, mental and general wellbeing. The workplace charter helps business support its corporate social responsibilities to promote a sustainable healthy workplace for all staff.

The charter provides an easy to understand guideline of best practices and meeting only 5 of 11 possible criteria to be a GFIG certified member. Click on the link for more details on the criteria and how to sign up - Workplace | Good Food in Greenwich

There was a whole host of meaningful presentations which touched on decarbonization, sustainable energy research, green travel plans, electrifying the river and innovative telecoms initiatives stemming from Greenwich.

We are really proud to be a member of the Chamber and privileged to be part of such an amazing event. All the energy and positivity experienced on the day is what leads to meaningful change in our for the future of our borough. Remember to support all our initiatives.
