Karina, our gardener based at Woolwich Common Community Centre has been working hard since the Spring to elevate the green spaces in the surrounding estate. As we come in to Summer, the estate is suddenly brimming with life and colour. Karina's hard work is definitely paying off!

"Since March I have been working with a team of gardeners to transform neglected for many years spaces in Woolwich Common into small thriving gardens" Explains Karina, "Four months later I can proudly say the change is noticeable, many residents have expressed gratitude for the work we have done and some of them are now actively involved in maintaining the spaces. 

I can see myself in the future growing more plants, creating more amazing flower beds and developing deeper connection with the local community."
