  • Or maybe you’re interested in starting a food-based project of your own?

Community and Holiday meals

Under GFIG we have GCDA, Public Health and volunteers working to support meals during the holidays to ensure all kids have access to food during this time. We also put on community meals which are cooked in venues and outdoors across the borough. These events provide an opportunity for people to cook and eat together. For more information about holiday meals volunteering see here

Working with food businesses

Good Food in Greenwich has developed a charter for businesses to sign to show their commitment to Good Food.  We need volunteers to help recruit more businesses to sign up to the charter.  The role involves visiting businesses and encouraging them to sign the charter. For more information, contact

Communications and Promotion

Getting the word out there about what GFIG is up to is so important to enthuse people and build a movement.  But we need help to do this!  Volunteering in a comms role would involve planning comms strategies, using social media and campaigning to grow awareness and help change the food system in the borough!
